After I've just upgraded to Debian Wheezy, KDE 4.8 was installed. Every time I maximized a window, the KDE system crashed. Very annoying!
After searching multiple hours, I couldn't find any useful information, even with the logs I got in the Xorg.0.log or kdm.log, only this message which didn't help:kdm: X server for display :0 terminated unexpectedly
Then I found the solution on Ubuntu Forums, in a post by eklikeroomys :
I have managed to fix the problem by commenting out the following lines in my /etc/X11/xorg.conf:Section "Files"
FontPath "unix/:7100"
EndSection
Removed the lines from xorg.conf, and no more crashes!
